Our commitment

The German Honorary Consul in Charlotte wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this website, book appointments and upload documents. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What we do

• Pages work with a keyboard alone and with screen readers.
• Text and buttons use colors with sufficient contrast.
• Images have text descriptions, and form fields have clear labels.
• The site adjusts to phones, tablets and browser zoom.
• We test the site regularly with automated and manual checks.

Known limitations

Some linked websites, such as German government pages, and some official PDF forms are provided by others and may not be fully accessible. If you have trouble with any of them, contact us and we will help.
